KSS are very experienced at working within both NHS and private hospitals and install Nurse Call and Personal Attack systems, as well CCTV, access control systems and intruder alarms.
Our first choice of system for Nurse Call is SAS Network II which is a well-proven system which is simple and state-of-the-art in design, and has proved to be exceptionally reliable in use.
Network II has a very wide range of accessories and options so a design can be put together which precisely meets the particular needs of a ward or department, and any subsequent alterations can very easily be incorporated.
The system can be stand-alone, or can be linked to one or more PCs to allow all events to be logged and analysed. Calls can be displayed on fixed indicator panels or can be relayed to wireless pager units.
The SAS Red Alert staff attacks system works on similar lines to the Nurse Call system but, in addition to the fixed push button call points, staff are able to use a portable alarm transmitter which is always with them. Infra red receivers in the building or even outside the building are able to pin point the location of any staff member who required help.
With SAS equipment the Nurse Call and Staff Attack systems may be integrated into one system, which can prove to be simpler to use as well as more economical to install.
