External Systems

Alarming open yards, lorry parks, car sales lots etc. can present particular challenges and we have specialised in this area. We will use a variety of detection devices as appropriate:

• Active infra red beams.
• Passive infra red detectors.
• Sensing cables.
• Video motion detection.

Warning devices can range from simple sirens to automatic warning messages, to auto-dialled messages to key holders and/or security guarding companies.

The most effective system of all is where a remotely monitored CCTV is incorporated and although police will not respond to a normal external alarm, if activity on site can be verified on CCTV evidence, that is a different matter.

Internal Systems

KSS is accredited by the SSAIB, (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board), so we are able to offer alarms which qualify for police response and will satisfy all insurance company requirements.

We work to the latest European and ACPO standards and all systems are designed and specified after a full site-specific risk assessment, carried out in conjunction with the client.

Depending on the level of risk identified, we can offer the appropriate level of signalling for your alarm system, ranging from autodiallers, to digital communicators, RedCare, RedCare GSM, and other forms of secure dual path signalling.
