About Kent and Sussex Security

History

The company was formed in April 1996 by a team who had previously run the Ashford branch of Modern Alarms, now part of ADT.

Initially, the company was part of a national CCTV franchise, but KSS is now wholly independent of any manufacturer, distributor, or marketing group. The selection of security equipment is solely driven by the needs of our customers.

We aim to match the technical skills and professionalism of the larger national security contractors, but with the competitive pricing and service levels which only a smaller, low cost, regional supplier can offer.

Commitment to Quality

We are accredited to the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard.

We work to the demanding standards of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) (Registered No. 541), of which we are a full member.

We are inspected by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspections Board, (SSAIB) (Registered No. Kent118), for intruder alarms which are acceptable to insurance companies and the police.

We are accredited to Constructionline (Registered No. 53712), Safecontractor and CHAS, (Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).

Our Approach

We are happy to talk to any business or public sector authority in south east England about their security needs or concerns. If appropriate, we will carry out a free security survey and report back on perceived risks and potential solutions, using state-of-the-art electronic security systems.
