Environment Policy

It is the policy of Kent and Sussex Security to provide its customers, staff and the general public with a high quality, environmentally sensitive and competitive business. We are committed to a programme of continual improvement to reduce our impact on the environment and will comply with any relevant environmental legislation and industry best practice.

Our commitment is to :

• Reduce the amount of waste we produce.
• Recycle when it is practical to do so.
• Use registered contractors of waste disposal.
• Minimise vehicle emissions to the atmosphere.
• Maintain equipment and premises to ensure the efficient use of energy.

To meet our commitments we will:

• Only print information when we need to, and print double-sided where possible.
• Segregate recyclable materials from our waste.
• Repair electronic equipment where possible rather than scrap.
• Monitor vehicle fuel usage and train users in economical driving techniques.
• Ensure company vehicles are serviced to manufacturer's recommendations.

This statement represents our position on environmental issues, and the policies and practices we will apply in conducting our business. It will be reviewed annually or in the light of any organisational or operational change.

This policy is supported by the management and staff of Kent and Sussex Security and will be available to employees, customers and the general public on our web site.
