Disabled Alarms and Call Systems
Disabled Refuge Systems
Current building regulations insist that all new non-domestic buildings of more than one storey provide “refuge” areas – relatively safe places where people who cannot easily use fire escapes can call for assistance and wait for help to arrive. We can install Disabled Refuge and Fire Telephone systems which comply with the requirements of BS5839 Part 9.
Disabled Toilet Alarms
To help you comply with BS8300 and the Equality/Disability Discrimination Act we can install disabled persons toilet alarms and other call systems, both stand alone and networked versions. If you are not sure of your obligations under the current regulations then we can advise you.
Induction Loop Equipment
Designed to help you comply with the Equality/Disability Discrimination Act, induction loop equipment allows hearing aid users to participate fully in conversation. Can be used in stand-alone form in ticket offices, reception areas and shops, or interfaced with other equipment such as disabled refuge systems.
