About Kent and Sussex Security

The company was formed in April 1996 by a team who had previously run the Ashford branch of Modern Alarms.

Initially, the company was part of a national CCTV franchise, but KSS is now wholly independent of any manufacturer, distributor, or marketing group. The selection of security equipment is solely driven by the needs of our customers.

We aim to match the technical skills and professionalism of the larger national security contractors, but with the competitive pricing and service levels which only a smaller, low cost, regional supplier can offer.

KSS are accredited to the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard. We are inspected by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspections Board, (SSAIB) for intruder alarms which are acceptable to insurance companies and the police. We are members of the Trading Standards “Buy with Confidence” scheme.

We take safety of our customers, employees and members of the public very seriously and are accredited to Constructionline, Safecontractor and CHAS, (Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).

We aim to minimise our carbon footprint and our impact on the environment generally and are certificated by the South East Business Carbon Hub to STEM Blue Level.  Click here to view our Environment Policy.
